GRANDVIEW, Idaho (CBS2) — One Grandview man died after his truck rolled and ejected him on State Highway 78 Saturday morning at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Idaho State Police said the crash was near milepost 58 just west of Grandview.
Police said Anthony Mowery (23) of Grandview was driving east when his truck left the road and rolled.
The truck came to rest partially submerged in a canal just north of the road.
Police said Mowery was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
Mowery died from his injuries at the scene of the crash. The next of kin has been notified.
Idaho State Police was assisted by the Owyhee County Sheriff's Office, Elmore County Sheriff's Office, Grandview Ambulance, Grandview Fire Department, and Air St. Luke's.
