Waikapu Danceworks will host a monthlong “Back to School with Waikapu Danceworks” fundraiser for local schools beginning Aug. 15 at its studio in Waikapu.
Participants can sign up for any dance or movement class from Aug. 15 to Sept. 15 and choose a school to support. A portion of the proceeds from each class will be donated to the selected schools. Participating schools will have a unique QR code for participants to use when registering for classes.
“We are excited to give back to our community and support the education of our youth through this unique charity event, ‘Back to School,'” said Amanda Furgiuele, co-owner of Waikapu Danceworks. “By attending our classes, participants not only have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance, movement, and fitness but also contribute to the betterment of our local schools.”
